SALEM VILLAGE
Near Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire
The Angel will re-open soon under the management of the Toller family from Salem. This new chapter in the history of the Angel starts with a free Hog Roast from 6.30 on Friday 14th June - all welcome!
A Race Night will be held at the Hall on 14th June to raise funds for the Eisteddfad which will be held in our county in 2021. To sponsor a race, back a jockey or purchase a horse, contact Peter Harries.
Horses will be in the Paddock from 7pm with the first race around 7.30. We'll have a fully licenced bar, but please bring your own nibbles!
Our short mat bowls team ended the season as Winter League and Cup champions. The club meets on a Wednesday night at the hall from 7pm. Why not come along and have a go?
This site exists to keep residents informed about what is happening within our community.
Although our village is small, it has a great deal going for it in the way of leisure activities. There are clubs and groups of all sorts, catering for the active and the not-so-active!
So, keep coming back every now and again to see what's what in Salem.
